The House Party franchise consists of American comedies, based on a short film written/directed by Reginald Hudlin in 1990. The franchise consists of the original short film, three theatrical releases (the first film and its first two sequels), two straight-to-home video sequels, and one theatrical continuation movie. The plot additionally involves these characters' attempts to fame, in the Hip-hop/Rap music industry.

Christopher 'Kid' Reid

He manages to get out of another scrape with Stab and his brothers, and they all end up in a jail cell. Kid entertains the rest of the men in the cell by rapping, distracting them long enough for Play, Sharane, Bilal, and Sydney to arrive and bail him out. After Play and Bilal drop him off, Kid sneaks in the house and gets undressed. As he is about to get into bed, he looks up to find Pop holding a belt as he prepares to spank him. During the party, Chill bumps the DJ table, which angers Bilal and other guests, and it nearly results in a fight between the two. Kid and Play get into a dance contest with attractive girls Sydney and Sharane (originally it was Kid and Groove against Sydney and Sharane, but after Groove gets drunk and passes out, Play takes his place), then have a freestyle battle.

On July 28, 2021, Jacob Latimore was cast to replace Lendeborg Jr., who dropped out of the film due to his mental well-being. "House Party" grew from a student film director Reginald Hudlin made at Harvard University. Starring popular rappers Kid 'n Play, "House Party" features Kid doing his best to get to Play's party — on a school night, no less! The film was a hit, grossing over $26 million, made huge stars out of several of its then-unknown cast members, and provided an enduring legacy for black cinema.

She had an infamous feud with Martin Lawrence throughout her career on Martin, but have since remained good friends. Martin Lawrence was a fresh-faced 25 year-old when he appeared in a supporting role in House Party, with his only previous film credit coming in Spike Lee's drama Do the Right Thing. His team-up with Kid 'n Play was his first effort at cinematic comedy, and it'd prove to be a lucrative avenue for him moving forward. First, however, he played Bilal, a friend of the lead duo who's pressed into duty as the DJ for the party of the year, and who provides the new jack swing that soundtracks its events.

Johnson, who also appeared in "School Daze" as Cecilia, continued acting after "House Party," though she did not appear in the film's sequels. He's also hosted shows, including "Your Big Break" and "Showtime at the Apollo," and branched out into stand-up comedy — not a big stretch, given his long friendship with comedian Bill Maher. Kid was a frequent guest on Maher's first talk show, "Politically Incorrect," and composed the theme song for Maher's HBO Show, "Real Time with Bill Maher," along with producers Buster & Shavoni. Maher jump-started Kid's stand-up by letting him do a brief set on "Real Time." Kid is also active on social media, including on Twitter and Instagram, and still performs music.

Echoing one of the many grievances shared by hard-right Republicans who opposed all of the aid measures, Mr. Good said his support for “Israel’s right to defend itself remains unshakeable” but that he disagreed with a measure that would add to the nation’s debt. The plan, laid out in a rule that passed on Friday, was concocted to capitalize on the pools of support for each part of the $95 billion package, while preventing opposition to any one piece from taking down all of them. When the 66-year-old woman drove 25 feet through the Swan Creek Boat Club, where the kids and their parents were enjoying the festivities, Monroe County Sheriff Troy Goodnough previously said. Damon and Kevin arrive back at the mansion to return the ring and end the party, but are interrupted by LeBron who returned from his trip early.

Diamond was a stand-up comic with bit parts in several shows and films, and was a regular act on 1983's "The ½ Hour Comedy Hour." His biggest role was in 1984's "Bachelor Party" as Rudy, one of Rick's (Tom Hanks) friends. He played Cop #2 in "House Party 2," and appeared in 1993's series, "Townsend Television," which also featured John Witherspoon. Anthony shares in the group's Grammys and multi-gold and platinum records. While Full Force had several of their own hits, they were also high-powered producers who have worked with Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and UTFO (responsible for the 1984 mega-hit "Roxanne Roxanne"), among many, many others. Played by Paul Anthony George, known professionally as Paul Anthony, of hip-hop group Full Force, Stab is a buff bundle of revenge.

The legacy of the original film has lasted more than across decades, but fans will never forget that first night over that Play's house. This section includes characters who will appear or have appeared in more than two films in the series. Though Martin Lawrence was the biggest star to come out of "House Party," George Clinton was the biggest one in it — despite only appearing in a cameo. He gives Kid a beat to rap over while Kid is trying to avoid Stab and his brothers. The two are about to have sex there when she stops him, wanting to know if she is simply his second choice. However, they do not do anything after realizing that Kid's only condom is too old to be used.

When Sydney's parents come home – now revealed as one of the couples at the high-school reunion, including the man Kid ran into – Sydney helps Kid sneak out of the house. Rather than miss the party of the year, Kid sneaks out while Pop is sleeping. On his way to the party, Kid is stopped by the neighborhood police and runs into Stab and his brothers, jumps over a fence where a fat man named Roughouse is having sex. Kid, along with Stab, Zilla, and Pee-Wee, are shot at by Roughouse. An earlier version of this article incorrectly identified the political party of a group of representatives who notably voted “no” on new aid for Israel. While all Democrats voted in favor of aid to Ukraine and all but Ms. Tlaib supported funding to Taiwan, 37 left-leaning Democrats defected to vote against the Israel aid bill.

However, upon reading Kid Cudi's poem, LeBron has a change of heart and works to get Damon released early from his jail sentence, following which he is picked up by Mya. Kyle and his gang are arrested after trying to sell LeBron's ring and the party causes Kevin to gain recognition and make money from his music. Damon and Kevin market the party as a secret event to avoid alerting the police, and the event starts out as a success. However, Kyle and his gang find out about it after no one shows up to their own party, and take advantage of a lapse in security to break into LeBron's trophy room and steal his Cleveland Cavaliers 2016 championship ring. Kevin grows distressed over the damage happening to the mansion and confronts Damon over his flippant disregard for everything around him.
